Traveling with our pet during the Holidays
December 11, 2007
Traveling during the holidays is one of the most pleasurable times of the year. Unfortunately, it can also be one of the most stressful times for our pets. As for my family, sending Izzy and Nadia to the kennel is completley out of the question!

We’ve compiled a short list for anyone travel with thier four legged companions.
Must not forgets:
• Plenty of toys.
• Bring pet food. Changing the food can disrupt your pets eating habits.
• Collar and leash.
• Identification tag.
• Prescribed medications, if any.
• Lots of treats.
• Pets Vets number.
If traveling by car:
• Stop at least every every 3 hours to give your pet a chance to walk, drink and of course go potty.
• Have your pet on a leash when traveling, even if he/she is off-leash trained.
• Pet needs to wear an identification tag with a phone number that is appropriate for your trip.
• Don’t leave your pet alone in the car, especially in the Texas heat. Extreme temperature can be fatal to your pet.
